Pantone Fall 2016 Fashion Colors Riverside, Airy Blue and Sharkskin

I thought I would start out with sharing the clay color recipes for three of the Fall 2016 Pantone Fashion Colors that are somewhat similar where mixing is concerned.

Riverside is a cool and calming yet strong shade of blue.  Airy Blue is a lighter version of Riverside and Sharkskin has a slight edge with a hint of blue yet considered neutral.

Riverside
2 parts Kato Blue
1 part Kato Violet
2 parts Kato Silver
2 parts White Mix # 1-2 *

Airy Blue
1 part Kato Blue
1/2 part Kato Violet
1 part Kato Silver
7 parts White Mix # 1-2 *

Sharkskin
1 part Kato Blue
1/2 part Kato Violet
6 parts Kato Silver
1 part White Mix # 1-2 *

* Note:  These clay color recipes are created using Kato Polyclay.  Any of the base color "mixes" used are from my Clay Color System.

🙋🏻 Hi Carolyn.
You are not alone, I've been following you for quite a while 😊
I love your creativity and that you're happy to share!
I'm a timid newbie, 2 years fascinated by the unlimited possibilities of PC.
Equipped and supplied, made 1 pretty bead and a Skinner Blend.
I joined a PC Guild right away, but it disbanded within a year.
I'm in Memphis TN, it met in Mississippi.
Nothing near. I miss it a lot 😔
Thank you again for your sharing heart!

Hi Beverly, Good to hear from you and please don't be shy. Is so nice to hear from others out there. I hope you can eventually get another group going in your area or at least find 1 or 2 others to clay with once in awhile. We were the only ones in our area until we taught some beginner workshops and now we have a small group and enjoy meeting as much as we can.
